Training Philosophy

Our philosophy is to train superior welding craftsmen to fulfill their dreams. It is our definite goal to prepare our students for a broad background in welding with many diversified alternatives of employment.
MISSOURI WELDING INSTITUTE is dedicated to providing its students with a sound occupational education. We strive to enable students to develop the attitudes, knowledge, quality and skills necessary for them to be effective as a person, a family member and a citizen in an era of rapid social change

Instructional Resources
Physical Facility‑The school occupies a total area of 19,850 sq. ft., which includes shop area, pipefitting laboratory, classroom, library and offices. The shop area consists of 44 booths, fully lighted with individual welding machines.

Welding process capabilities are SMAW‑(Stick), GTAW‑(Tig or Heliarc), GMAW‑(Mig or Wire), FCAW‑(Dual Shield or Innershield). 

DVD Player, Video Player, and  Overhead Projector library consisting of approximately 120 volumes related to welding,  welding technology, welding inspection, blueprint reading and  welding quality control.
